Olympic Torch Relay

So I've got this splendid job starting May 18th, where I'll be going to Land's End (with all these gorgeous things: below), to commence an 8000 mile journey across the UK, over 70 days, on a red noisy caravan / ex-prison vehicle, to escort the Olympic Flame; all the way to the Olympic Stadium (where the journey will end on July 27th. The Opening Ceremony!). It should be incredible; we’re going to England, Ireland, Scotland, Wales and all those smaller Islands that don’t matter at all. (Guernsey, Jersey, Isle of Man, and the others...)

It will be a once in a lifetime opportunity to find out JUST how sh*t Gainsborough is. I’ve never been. Think it’s in Lincolnshire. But more importantly there are many lovely towns and villages on these fair Isles to which I’ve never been to, or indeed heard of.
